ABOUT

Chezzy Brownen is currently the programme and exhibition project manager for the new museum at Trent Park House, north London and is also coordinating the House Development project at Castle Howard in Yorkshire. 

 

Previously she was the project manager for the collections decant and reinstatement for Project Pegasus at the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple in London following a major building project. She was the project manager for the NLHF resilience project at the Norfolk Archaeological Trust, and a scoping project for the Treasure Houses of England in China exhibition. She was consultant registrar for Harewood House Trust, Yorkshire, on their recent Museum Accreditation project. 

 

Chezzy has organised exhibitions and held registrar positions at the Ashmolean Museum, University of Oxford, the Barber Institute of Fine Arts, University of Birmingham and the National Trust where she covered 330 properties across the UK. She was previously the museum development officer for Bath and North East Somerset representing 38 museums and heritage organisations across the council district. In addition, she undertook a project to provide recommendations to raise awareness for Bath as a World Heritage Site and to feed into a UNESCO World Heritage Site report on the city. 

 

Chezzy is the Managing Director of Sea Change, a consultancy which offers specific tailored advice for projects in museums and heritage sectors of all shapes and sizes.
